The Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Wisdom Osei Boamah, paid a working visit to the Nkawie Cluster of Schools to inspect the ongoing construction of a 14-seater toilet facility for pupils and teachers.
Upon arrival at the project site, the MCE expressed satisfaction with the quality of work and the steady pace of construction. He commended Water and Sanitation for the Urban Poor (WSUP), the contractor, JohnMart Construction Limited, the teachers, and all stakeholders whose contributions have been instrumental to the project’s progress.
The facility is currently about 80 percent complete, and upon completion, it will provide pupils and teachers with access to a safe, decent, and hygienic sanitation facility to enhance teaching and learning.
The Municipal Assembly remains committed to improving basic infrastructure and promoting a healthy school environment for the benefit of all children.
