The Member of Parliament for Ejisu, Hon. Kwabena Boateng Esq, has awarded scholarships to 150 tertiary students within the constituency to support their education in various universities across Ghana.

The initiative, which forms part of the MP’s educational support programme, is aimed at easing the financial burden on brilliant but needy students and promoting academic excellence in the constituency.

Speaking to TalkGhana News at the Ejisu Educational Office, Hon. Boateng Esq, said his long-term vision is to help produce professionals from the constituency who will contribute meaningfully to national development.

“My vision is to ensure that Ejisu produces the best engineers, doctors, professors, artisans and other professionals in the coming years,” he said.

He explained that this support package represents the third phase of scholarship assistance to tertiary students in the constituency. According to him, the programme underscores his commitment to identifying and supporting academically gifted but financially disadvantaged students.

Hon. Boateng further noted that the selection process was conducted in collaboration with key stakeholders in the constituency to ensure transparency and that only qualified beneficiaries were chosen.

The MP encouraged the beneficiaries to take their studies seriously and work hard to justify the investment made in their education.

The event was attended by parents and family members of the beneficiaries, who expressed their appreciation to the MP for his continued support for education in the constituency.

Beneficiaries of the tertiary education support scheme instituted by the Member of Parliament for Ejisu, Hon. Kwabena Boateng, have expressed their heartfelt gratitude for what they describe as a timely intervention in their academic journey.

The students commended the MP for providing financial assistance that has enabled them to pursue their studies in various tertiary institutions across Ghana, saying the support has significantly eased the burden on their families.

They noted that the intervention has been a major source of motivation and urged their fellow students to take their studies seriously and work hard to justify the investment made in them.

According to the beneficiaries, their success in school will serve as proof that the support given has yielded meaningful results, both for themselves and for the development of the constituency.

They further appealed to other students to remain focused and disciplined in order to benefit fully from similar opportunities in the future.
