HON. ISSAHAK TOURS BECE CENTRES, OFFERS SUPPORT AND ANNOUNCES SCHOLARSHIPS

Hon. Issahak Ibrahim, in the company of the District Co-ordinating Director, Mr. Samuel Gyan, and officials from the Atwima Mponua District Assembly, has visited selected Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) centres across the district to monitor the ongoing exams.

The team observed a smooth and well-organized examination process, commending supervisors, invigilators, and other stakeholders for their professionalism and dedication to ensuring integrity throughout the exercise.

As part of efforts to support candidates, Hon. Issahak distributed drinks, biscuits, and water to help students stay refreshed and focused. He also made a donation to supervisors and invigilators to assist with administrative needs.

Addressing the candidates, Hon. Issahak encouraged them to remain confident, give their best, and avoid any form of examination malpractice, emphasizing that dishonesty could negatively impact their future.

He further announced scholarship packages for outstanding students to support their transition to Senior High School, reaffirming his commitment to promoting education in the district.

A total of 3,069 candidates—1,555 males and 1,514 females—are sitting for the BECE across 13 centres in the Atwima Mponua District.
