Aspiring National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Hon. Boakye Agyarko, has joined party faithful in Kumasi for the Ashanti Regional Thanksgiving Service, an event marked by prayers, gratitude, fellowship and calls for unity within the party.
The thanksgiving service brought together party executives, supporters and stakeholders from across the region to reflect on the party’s journey and renew their commitment towards building a stronger and more united NPP.

Addressing the gathering, Ashanti Regional Chairman, Odeneho Kwaku Appiah, popularly known as COKA, urged members of the party in the Ashanti Region to rally behind their own, stressing that other regions were equally supporting candidates from their respective areas.
He further called on party members to prioritise unity and collective responsibility as the NPP prepares for the crucial 2028 general elections.
Speaking to the media after the service, Hon. Boakye Agyarko appealed to delegates to give him the mandate as National Chairman of the party.

He outlined his vision to reconcile divided factions, restore discipline, unite the rank and file, and ensure that party officers at all levels are adequately resourced to effectively carry out their responsibilities.

According to him, his ultimate goal is to build a united, disciplined and well-resourced NPP capable of securing victory for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in the 2028 presidential election while also delivering a strong parliamentary majority.
Hon. Agyarko stressed that winning both the presidency and a parliamentary majority would provide the party with the necessary foundation to deliver stable and effective governance for the country.
