Constituency executives and delegates of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Central Region have pledged their massive support for Boakye Agyarko’s bid to become the party’s National Chairman.
The delegates expressed confidence in Mr. Agyarko’s vision to unite the party, strengthen its organisational structures and improve its electoral fortunes ahead of future elections.
According to the delegates, one of their key priorities is to reclaim parliamentary seats lost by the NPP and work towards restoring the party’s previous strength of 19 seats in the Central Region. They also called for renewed efforts to improve the party’s presidential performance in the region.
Addressing the concerns during the meeting was the Incoming National Chairman, Hon. Boakye Agyarko stressed the need for genuine reconciliation and unity within the NPP, arguing that a cohesive party would be better positioned to mobilise supporters and compete effectively at the grassroots.
He also pledged to advocate for the retooling and resourcing of constituency and regional offices to strengthen grassroots mobilisation and improve the party’s organisational capacity.
Hon. Agyarko reiterated his commitment to building a united, stronger and better-resourced NPP capable of regaining lost ground and strengthening its presence across the Central Region.
