The Member of Parliament for Atwima Mponua,Hon Seth OSEI Akoto has commissioned a Community Health-based Planning Services (CHPS) compound in Okyerekrom. The facility which was abandoned since 2008 has been completed by the Member of Parliament to enhance healthcare accessibility for the local community which had previously faced challenges accessing nearby health services.
The Okyerekrom CHPS compound is part of broader efforts by the MP to improve local health infrastructure and address the needs of underserved populations in the district.
The facility comprise of 2 consulting room,am OPD room,both male and female ward, waiting room, toilet and bathroom,etc.

He urged the people of Okyerekrom to help integrate the health personnel posted in the community.
Yakubu Mohammed who is a member of the Council of Zongo Chiefs,Ashanti Region who also graced the occasion expressed gratitude to the Member of Parliament for this commitment, highlighting the importance of such projects in improving the well-being of the community.
