The youth of Afigya Kwabre North have organized a Big Christmas Thanksgiving Float and Walk in the constituency as part of the Christmas celebration to exercise their bodies and also to foster unity among themselves.
The walk which started from Boamang took them through the streets of Amoako, Kyerekrom, Maase, Soko,Adukrom, Fish FM and ended at the Police station at Boamang.
The organizer of the Big Christmas Thanksgiving Float and Walk,Mr Oduro Agyemang Francis said the purpose of the float was to bring the youth of Afigya Kwabre North together in order to champion development into the constituency.
He also urged the government to complete the Agenda 111 hospital in the constituency which is 85% complete in order for them to get access to quality health care and also pleaded with the government to provide them with ambulances since the constituency has only one ambulance.
The Member of Parliament,Hon Collins Adomako Mensah also thanked the youth of Afigya Kwabre North and advised them to be focus and determined and also be moderate in their enjoyment this Xmas and abstain from social vices such as taking of alcohol and drugs.
Deputy Ranking Member on the Lands and Natural Resources Committee of Parliament who is also the MP for Manhyia North, Hon Akwasi Konadu also stated that the purpose of the minority in Parliament is to help the government in power to execute its plans to help Ghanaians and also pleaded with the majority to listen to them as well.
