Nkawie Hemaa Nana Adoma Akosua II has reintroduced the traditional puberty rite known as “Bragoro” in Nkawie, where nine young girls underwent a significant spiritual and cultural initiation.
The Bragoro rite is a revered tradition in Ghanaian culture, holding deep cultural, social, and spiritual significance.

Ohene yere Nana Adoma Akosua II said she deemed it as an honour getting these girls from her community at this 24th century and makes her proud of it.
Toasehemaa Nana Amonu Gyamfua Serwaa Bonsu congratulated the girls for their self-control and determination.

She therefore encouraged young girls in the community to emulate from their peers and desist from any premature pregnancy that will destroy their education and future as a whole.
Nana Amonu Gyamfua reiterated her commitment to support these laudable cultural initiatives that were abundant many years ago and poses a great benefit physically and spiritual to girls and society at large.

In addition, she said society must endeavour to embrace puberty rites and any other traditions that added value to our culture .
