Ghana’s Ministry of Interior Launches Digital Services Portal, Revolutionizing Public Service Delivering

Ghana’s Ministry of the Interior has launched its Online Digital Services Portal, marking a significant milestone in the country’s digital transformation agenda. The portal offers a range of services, including Citizenship and Migration Services, Security and Regulatory Services, and Specialized Services like exportation of dead bodies.

This launch follows the recent introduction of a centralized e-recruitment portal for security services, which has streamlined recruitment processes for agencies like the Ghana Police Service and Ghana Prisons Service.

The digitalization of services aims to improve efficiency, transparency, and accountability, while providing applicants with real-time updates and secure document submission.

Available online and via mobile channels, the portal will be accessible from Monday, 15th December 2025.

This launch is part of the government’s public sector digitalization agenda, aiming to create a modern, secure, and inclusive digital economy.

The Ministry of the Interior is the first to digitalize its services, setting an example for other ministries to follow.
