Kumasi Central Prison inmates graduate from makeup skills program

Twelve female inmates at Kumasi Central Prison have completed a makeup‑skills training course run in partnership with Joynest Glam Brushes. The program, designed to give inmates employable skills for rehabilitation and smoother reintegration, was celebrated at a graduation ceremony attended by prison officials.

Chief Superintendent Florence Akuah Asabea Tailor, Acting Officer‑in‑Charge of the prison, said the Ghana Prisons Service is expanding skills‑training initiatives to support rehabilitation. “The collaboration with Joynest Glam Brushes to teach makeup skills is a prime example of how we can equip inmates with marketable abilities that increase their job prospects after release,” she told the gathering.
