The Zone 6 Under-17 Inter-District Soccer Competition has officially kicked off, and it was a pleasure for the District Chief Executive, Hon. Ibrahim Issahak, to be present to welcome all participating districts and witness the opening match between Atwima Mponua District and Atwima Nwabiagya District.

Although our boys suffered a narrow one-goal defeat, their performance showcased remarkable talent, discipline, and determination—signs of great promise for the matches ahead.
Hon. Ibrahim Issahak extend his appreciation to the Ashanti Regional Minister, Hon Frank Amoakohene for initiating this commendable competition. This initiative has become a beacon of hope for our Under-17 footballers, and we are equally grateful for the opportunity to host the Zonal Finals.

We encourage our boys to raise their performance levels in the remaining fixtures and push for victory. We also commend the organizers for their hard work and urge them to continue delivering their best as the competition progresses to its conclusion.
