Hon. Wisdom Osei Boamah–Okumkom has issued a public notice warning citizens about fraudulent social media accounts impersonating him to scam unsuspecting members of the public.
According to the statement, certain unscrupulous individuals have created fake accounts using his name and identity to falsely claim they can facilitate recruitment into a recruitment service or provide protocol assistance for employment opportunities on his behalf.
Hon. Boamah–Okumkom has firmly denied these claims, stating unequivocally that his office is not recruiting anyone and is not offering any form of protocol assistance for employment. He emphasized that any such representations are false and should be treated as fraudulent.

He urged the general public to remain vigilant and to avoid engaging with individuals or accounts making such promises in his name. He further cautioned against making any payments or sharing personal information with anyone claiming to act on his behalf.
For clarity, he noted that he maintains only two official social media accounts: Hon. Wisdom Osei Boamah–Okumkom on Facebook and TikTok. Any other accounts using his name should be disregarded and reported immediately.
