The District Chief Executive for Ahafo Ano South West, Hon. Abubakar Sedik, on Thursday paid a surprise visit to Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) centres across the district to encourage candidates and examination officials as the exams drew to a close.
As part of the visit, the DCE provided lunch for invigilators and supervisors at the various centres in appreciation of their dedication and hard work throughout the examination period.
Hon. Sedik commended the officials for their professionalism, discipline, and commitment to ensuring a smooth and credible examination process. He noted that their role remains vital in upholding the integrity of the BECE and creating a conducive environment for candidates.
The DCE also expressed confidence in the candidates and encouraged them to remain calm, focused, and determined to give off their best in the final papers.
The gesture was warmly welcomed by the examination officials, who expressed gratitude to the DCE for his continuous support, concern, and involvement in educational activities within the district.
